Château l’Hospitalet H de L’Hospitalet Syrah – Cabernet – Merlot 2023

A red blend from Gérard Bertrand’s Château l’Hospitalet in coastal Languedoc, drawing on the region’s classic varieties. Aromatic and deeply coloured, with scents of plum, blackberry, violet and the herbes-de-Provence garrigue character typical of the south of France. Round, soft and generous on the palate, leading with fruit and easy charm rather than weight, with supple tannins. Drinks well young and slightly cool; good with grilled meats and Mediterranean fare.
