Deep cherry-red with purple reflections, showing an expressive, complex nose of ripe black fruit — cherry and blackcurrant — with spice. The attack is supple and silky, the palate rich with crisp, elegant tannins, closing long on a note of morello cherry. A balanced, gourmand claret for red meats and cheeses.
